One of the artists who continues to push the envelope in the realm of melodic house is Rezident, and his latest album, Feeling Fades, via Anjunadeep certainly exhibits that sentiment.
Hailing from southern Germany, Rezident is the project of emerging 26-year-old producer David Roif. One of the standout gems on his body of work is the melodically rich “We Can Make It” – a hazy listening experience driven by luminous arps and a driving rhythm section. The second half swells with large immersive pads and dreamy vocals, and crescendoes into a climax that feels cinematic yet simultaneously dance-friendly.
